Membership on the Recovery House Advisory Council offers some great benefits for recovery residences who become accredited members.

• Credibility – RICARES is the only national accrediting body specifically for recovery residences in Rhode Island. Going through their certification process and meeting their standards lends credibility and emphasizes an organization’s commitment to quality.
• Visibility – Certified members are listed on RICAREs website, which can act as a referral service to connect more people to your residence. This increased visibility also further highlights your credibility.
• Relationships – Membership provides opportunities to network and build relationships with other providers in Rhode Island’s recovery residence community. This allows sharing of insights and knowledge.
• Policy Impact – Members can participate in discussions that shape policies related to recovery residences in Rhode Island. So you have a voice on issues impacting your organization.
• Training – You noted members also receive valuable training opportunities. Ongoing training ensures providers are offering the best possible services. This includes access to the NARR 3.0 learning modules.
