Support Recovery. Support Community.

RICARES is excited to participate in 401Gives, Rhode Island’s largest day of giving! From March 31 at 6 AM through April 1 at 6 PM, you’ll have the chance to support our work and help expand recovery support in our community. This year, donations will help fund a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) intern, strengthening peer-led support for individuals on their recovery journey.

Our goal for 2026? $9,000

$9000 will fund one Peer Recovery Specialist Internship and further our priority of building the recovery workforce. A Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) is a paid professional with lived experience of addiction who supports others in recovery through:
  • Recovery coaching
  • Connection to community resources
  • Support with building life skills and stability
Help us to expand the peer recovery workforce by donating $50 or more on March 31st!

Your donation helps RICARES advocate for recovery-supportive legislation, strengthen the peer recovery workforce, support individuals entering recovery, and bring our community together. See the ways to donate below and make an impact today.
